This 3-day First Aid at Work (FAW) course is a Level 3 RQF Award, fully accredited by Ofqual and recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Upon successful completion, you become a fully qualified first aider equipped to handle any workplace emergency with confidence.
Our course meets the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations and the approved code of practice L74 guidelines, ensuring compliance and workplace safety.
Course Content includes:
- Principles of first aid
- Prevention of cross-infection
- Basic life support (CPR & AED use)
- Managing unconscious casualties
- Treating wounds, bleeds, burns, and poisoning
- Handling anaphylaxis, shock, and sudden illness
- Managing fractures, dislocations, head injuries, asthma attacks, epilepsy, and diabetes
- Legal aspects, record keeping, and equipment use
Upon passing the assessment, learners receive an Ofqual-approved, nationally recognized First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.
